PT Entre edificações residenciais e corporativas, este largo trecho de rua subutilizado representa a oportunidade para criação de uma nova praça para os moradores do bairro de Icaraí. A principal intervenção espacial dessa proposta consiste em estabelecer um novo piso como perímetro retangular de 50x25 metros que delimita o espaço da praça em relação ao entorno irregular das fachadas dos edifícios vizinhos. Dentro deste perímetro, destacado por um material de piso distinto, uma malha modular composta por elementos como árvores, postes e bancos, estabelece uma nova identidade para o espaço. Através de um simples projeto de intervenção foi possível estabelecer um novo e legível espaço urbano sem obstruir o fluxo de carros existente.
EN In between residential and corporate buildings this wide underused stretch of street represents the opportunity to create a new square for the residents of the Icaraí neighborhood. The main spatial intervention of this proposal is to establish a new ground with a rectangular perimeter of 50x25 meters that delimits the space of the square concerning the irregular surroundings of the facades of neighboring buildings. Within this perimeter, highlighted by a simple but distinctive floor material, a grid composed of elements such as trees, lighting poles and benches, establishes a new identity for the space. Through a simple intervention project, it was possible to establish a new and legible urban space without obstructing the flow of existing cars.
